Matched by Allie Condie. Have not read yet!

Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate . . . until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.
The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.

MATCHED: An interview with author Ally Condie

Firelight by Sophie Jordan

Marked as special at an early age, Jacinda knows her every move is watched. But she longs for freedom to make her own choices. When she breaks the most sacred rule among her kind, she nearly pays with her life. Until a beautiful stranger saves her. A stranger who was sent to hunt those like her. For Jacinda is a draki—a descendant of dragons whose greatest defense is her secret ability to shift into human form.
Forced to flee into the mortal world with her family, Jacinda struggles to adapt to her new surroundings. The only bright light is Will. Gorgeous, elusive Will who stirs her inner draki to life. Although she is irresistibly drawn to him, Jacinda knows Will's dark secret: He and his family are hunters. She should avoid him at all costs. But her inner draki is slowly slipping away—if it dies she will be left as a human forever. She'll do anything to prevent that. Even if it means getting closer to her most dangerous enemy. I really really really liked this book, this one of the books you don't expect to be that great, but from start to finist I was enthralled! I loved the whole idea of shape shifting into a "dragon" or draki. YOU need to read this book, I thouroughly enjoyed this tasty book inside and out!

Misgiuded Angel by Melissa De la Cruz

After inheriting the dark Van Alen Legacy, Schuyler fled to Florence--with her forbidden love, Jack. Now the two of them must embark on the mission Schuyler was destined to complete: to find and protect the seven gates that guard earth from Lucifer, lord of the Silverbloods.

As the Blue Blood enclave weakens yet further, fate leads Schuyler closer to a terrifying crossroads--and a choice that will determine the destiny of all vampires. If you like the blue blood series this book was kind of short and there was like one chapter with Schuyler and Jack. Mimi has a big part in the book and I start to like her, and hey introduce a new character who you start to really get into to then the story just stops... Anyway there is there a budding romance with Mimi? or will she find a way to get Will back? I thought this book was OK. It definitely wasn't my favorite book in the series but you have to read it to understand the next book. What do you think?

Vixen by: Jillian Larkin

Jazz . . . Booze . . . Boys . . . It’s a dangerous combination.

Every girl wants what she can’t have. Seventeen-year-old Gloria Carmody wants the flapper lifestyle—and the bobbed hair, cigarettes, and music-filled nights that go with it. Now that she’s engaged to Sebastian Grey, scion of one of Chicago’s most powerful families, Gloria’s party days are over before they’ve even begun . . . or are they?

Clara Knowles, Gloria’s goody-two-shoes cousin, has arrived to make sure the high-society wedding comes off without a hitch—but Clara isn’t as lily-white as she appears. Seems she has some dirty little secrets of her own that she’ll do anything to keep hidden. . . .

Lorraine Dyer, Gloria’s social-climbing best friend, is tired of living in Gloria’s shadow. When Lorraine’s envy spills over into desperate spite, no one is safe. And someone’s going to be very sorry. . . .

From debut author Jillian Larkin, VIXEN is the first novel in the sexy, dangerous, and ridiculously romantic new series set in the Roaring Twenties . . . when anything goes.

One of my favorite quotes of all times!

"And now I’m looking at you,” he said, “and you’re asking me if I still want you, as if I could stop loving you. As if I would want to give up the thing that makes me stronger than anything else ever has. I never dared give much of myself to anyone before – bits of myself to the Lightwoods, to Isabelle and Alec, but it took years to do it – but, Clary, since the first time I saw you, I have belonged to you completely. I still do. If you want me."
— Cassandra Clare City Of Glass

Take Me There By:Carolee Dean

Take Me there first caugt my eye because of the cover art and the description sounded very interesting.  Dylan is a typical bad-boy and so when he gets out of juvie and starts a new life there no way he can score the gorgeous Jess. But when Dylan starts to fall in love with her he wants to change his life. As soon as things are starting to look up Dylan finds out that his convict father is about to be executed so he leaves to the last place he ever wanted to be again.TEXAS. There Dylan has to face the father he has always loved and the one fateful night that changed his life forever. This book was OK. I though it was going to involve Jess and Dylan more but that wasn't the case. I LOVED the poetry that Dylan writes in this book and the dynamic, hard characters. The story line was a good but sad one but I still really appreaciated the charecters and how they it took time to develop them and you kept guessing until the end. This book is a romance and a suspeneful mystery, but I would wait until it hits your library.

Nightshade By: Andrea R. Cremer

Yes this is your typical werewolf story, but better. Calla is a strong, out spoken girl who doesn't take shit from any one, but when she saves a beautiful human boy and exposes their secret. Every thing changes. Calla is alpha of the nightshade pack and is soon to be joined to handsome alpha of the bane pack, Ren. When the beatiful human boy shows up at her school he changes everyhting. The keepers, Calla's masters are interested in him and want him protected and put Calla in charge of his safety. Together they find the secrets behind the keepers and their history. In the end where will their allegiance lie? Throughout the story Calla falls for the human boy but also can not forget Ren. I loved this book it gave me chills and I stayed up until 1 am reading it. Calla is a strong heroine who has to decide between love and her pack... can't wait for the next book!!!

Elixir By Hillar Duff

Yes I know what your thinking. Hillary Duff as in Lizzie Maguire, the teen pop star? Yes she wrote a book and it was PHENOMENAL! Clea is a talented photojournalists, with a missing father who had something to hide. When she returns from her trip from Paris she discovers a mysterious man in every picture she took. Soon after she has dreams of the past with the same handsome man. When fate brings them together they have to solve a mystery beyond their imaginnings. Over all I was very impressed and can't wait for the next book. This book had a lot of sepense and had me guessing until the end... it also had a little romance:)
